Why bother ?

I have been a Hendrix fanatic since the early seventies and have built up a wealth of information about the man and his music. Instead of leaving it all in my head, here it is for all those surfing on the world-wide-web.

I see Jimi Hendrix as a Picasso. Like the great painter, his revolutionary approach tranformed established conceptions. He is justifiably considered to be the most talented and revolutionary musician to have worked in "rock" music and simply one of the most important artists of the 20th century. Unfortunately his musical legacy is perhaps the most confusing and disorganised in existance. He merited more.
